About the Team
Hello everyone!
My name is Christian Kevorkian and I am 17 years old. I am native to the state of California, however live in one of the hottest spots there is here (so… no I do not live the "California Life”)! I am the creator of GetPsyched. This project has acted as my passion project through the 50-100 hours it took me to complete it. Just like you guys, I took AP Psychology and was able to score a FIVE… just like you guys will :)! Thus, this class sparked an added interest in the field of psychology, which I plan to apply for during my college application process in the fall of 2024.
Now, I am a high school student just like all of you… so I know how stressful life can get. Whether you have a ton of extracurriculars, a job, or just want some time to spend with family or friends… school can be so time-consuming. As a result, I wanted to center my project around making AP Psychology students’ lives just that much more simple.
Each slide on my unit overviews aligns with the hours of time I spent reading the College Board CED. Thus, I promise that using GetPsyched’s resources (which are 100% free, unlike many online resources… heyyy!!) will not be a waste of your time.
My goal in this project is to spread my love for psychology through the crafted accumulation of knowledge needed for the class and to help some of you brilliant students succeed in a course that can be sometimes tricky.
The final thing I want to preface is that (as I mentioned) this course can sometimes get a little overwhelming. The resources I provided are for a WHOLE YEAR! When you are looking over the full-year guided overview… DO NOT PANIC! All of those slides, worksheets, study guides, and vocabulary sheets are for the WHOLE YEAR.
So… please do not pull sleepless nights for this course. Try and soak in all of this INTERESTING information. Most importantly, remember that we are all high school students! Breaks are more than normal. Please have fun with these resources. Spacing out your studying will result in the best outcome after the AP exam (you will learn about why this is during the course… FUN!).
